Welcome ✨ I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

My work is shaped by training in both undergraduate and post-graduate psychology and naturopathic medicine. I hold a BA in Psychology from McGill University and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree, along with additional training in clinical hypnotherapy. This background allows me to approach each person with an appreciation for the relationship between the mind, body, nervous system, and deeper patterns of experience.

My practice is currently focused on Clinical Hypnotherapy and Nervous System Regulation Bodywork. These sessions provide a gentle, individualized space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore change through the mind and body.

Bodywork appointments are available in person in Kelowna. Clinical hypnotherapy is available in person, by phone, or via secure video.

At this time, I am only accepting new patients for hypnotherapy and nervous system bodywork. Established naturopathic medical patients are welcome to continue booking follow ups and all other services.

If you are unsure which appointment feels right for you, please feel welcome to text or WhatsApp my admin at 778-721-8015.

Welcome! I’m Nicole and I’m so glad you’re here!

My approach to health and healing is rooted in compassion, nervous system support, and whole-person wellness. As a Registered Health and Nutrition Counsellor and Certified Breathwork Facilitator, I offer a gentle, individualized approach that honors both the physical and emotional aspects of healing.

My own personal journey through autoimmune challenges, stress, anxiety, hormone imbalances, burnout, and healing through layers of trauma has deeply shaped the way I support others today. I understand what it feels like to search for answers, to feel disconnected from your body, and to long for sustainable healing rather than quick fixes.

I offer trauma-informed nutrition counselling, health coaching, and Conscious Connected Breathwork with a focus on supporting nervous system regulation, stress resilience, gut health, energy, mindset, and overall well-being. I have acquired my Trauma Informed Health Coach certification and I have also completed Compassionate Inquiry® informed training, which helps guide the safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space I hold for clients.

My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and connected to your body in a sustainable and compassionate way, one step at a time.

I look forward to supporting you on your healing journey.

Dr. Haile Michaelson, ND, works at the intersection of science and spirituality, bringing sixteen years of clinical experience and a lifelong fascination with healing to her work in mind-body medicine and hypnotherapy. Her training began with a degree in psychology from McGill University, followed by a doctorate in naturopathic medicine. She is now completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, continuing a journey shaped by one enduring question: what helps us heal at the deepest level?

Sometimes described as a bridgewalker, Dr. Haile is drawn to the places where disciplines meet: physiology and psychology, evidence and meaning, the body’s responses and the stories we carry about who we are. She values scientific understanding alongside the deeply personal ways people make sense of their lives.

Over the course of her career, she has become increasingly interested in what emerges when the body and mind are understood together. Important dimensions of healing can sometimes be missed when they are viewed through isolated lenses, particularly when physical experience, emotional life, identity, relationships, and personal meaning are considered separately from one another. Her work is grounded in integration of the whole person and the connections between these different aspects of experience.

Dr. Haile is particularly drawn to depth work and to what becomes available when we move beneath our usual ways of thinking about ourselves. Some patterns are easy to recognize consciously; others seem to repeat despite our best efforts to understand or change them. Familiar loops, self-sabotaging responses, protective strategies, and deeply held beliefs can operate in ways that are difficult to access through conscious reflection alone.

Her mind-body work creates conditions for a different kind of exploration. By integrating hypnotherapy, consciousness studies, neuro-linguistic approaches, and nervous system regulation, sessions invite the mind and body into a more settled state where there may be greater space to notice the associations, beliefs, emotions, images, symptoms and internal patterns that sit beneath everyday awareness. Rather than forcing an answer, the work is an invitation to become curious about what a pattern may be protecting, expressing, or asking us to understand.

The body is an important part of that exploration. Through nervous-system-focused bodywork and acupuncture, attention can also be given to the somatic dimensions of experience: where stress is held, how the body responds to perceived safety or threat, and what becomes noticeable when the nervous system has an opportunity to settle. For Dr. Haile, depth work is not only about understanding ourselves differently, but about allowing insight and embodied experience to inform one another.

As a queer, non-binary practitioner, Dr. Haile is deeply committed to affirming care for every human being. She believes that dignity, freedom, compassion, and the ability to live authentically are fundamental to our humanity and to healing. Her work is grounded in respect for each person’s inherent worth and their freedom to explore and express who they are.
